Your first experience takes you beneath the surface at Green Grotto Caves, one of Jamaica’s best-known natural and historical attractions. Follow an experienced cave guide through cool limestone passages, spacious chambers and winding underground pathways shaped over thousands of years.
Along the way, admire stalactites, stalagmites, ceiling pockets and other naturally formed features. Descend deeper into the cave system to see its still underground lake and learn about the bats and smaller creatures that inhabit this protected environment.
The caves also preserve several layers of Jamaica’s history. Guides share how the underground passages were used at different times by the Taíno people, Spanish settlers, people escaping enslavement, smugglers and others seeking shelter or secrecy. During the Second World War period, part of the cave was also used to store barrels of rum.
After your guided cave exploration, travel the short distance to Puerto Seco Beach Club for a relaxing Caribbean beach experience. Set along the clear waters of Discovery Bay, the property offers a long stretch of white-sand beach, a swimming pool, changing facilities, showers, lounge areas, lockers, restaurants and bars.
Swim in the calm Caribbean water, unwind beside the pool or find a comfortable lounge chair beneath the shade. Guests can purchase Jamaican meals, seafood, refreshments and tropical drinks from the beach club’s dining facilities.
Puerto Seco also features a large floating aqua park with slides, climbing elements and trampolines. Access to the aqua park is included with applicable beach-entry packages, while optional experiences such as snorkelling, glass-bottom boat rides, kayaking, paddleboarding, diving and dolphin programmes may carry an additional cost and remain subject to availability.

- This adventure requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund of the amount paid.
- If you are coming on a cruise, you will be refunded the full amount paid if your cruise ship does not dock.
