This private combination tour takes you from the peaceful hills where Bob Marley was born and laid to rest to the turquoise pools and tropical waterfalls of Island Gully Falls, commonly known as the Blue Hole.
Journey through rural St. Ann to Nine Mile Reggae Land, Bob Marley’s birthplace and final resting place. Surrounded by the countryside that influenced his childhood and music, this historic community provides an intimate look at the early life, beliefs and legacy of Jamaica’s most internationally recognised reggae artist.
Follow a knowledgeable guide through the home where Bob Marley was born and raised with his mother, Cedella Marley Booker, and his grandfather. See authentic furnishings, personal artefacts, photographs and recordings connected to his life and creative development. Your guide will share stories about his upbringing, musical journey and the surroundings that inspired some of his most memorable work.
The guided experience continues to the on-site chapel containing the final resting places of Bob Marley and his mother. Guests can pause to reflect, pay their respects and appreciate the worldwide cultural impact of the King of Reggae. The official Nine Mile experience lasts approximately one hour and twenty minutes, with a restaurant, bar and gift shop available on the property.
After Nine Mile, continue through the hills of St. Ann to Island Gully Falls—the authentic Blue Hole experience near Ocho Rios. Follow your local guide along forest pathways to a collection of cascading waterfalls and clear, spring-fed pools surrounded by tropical vegetation.
Swim in the refreshing blue water, explore the natural lagoons or watch more adventurous visitors use the rope swings and designated jumping areas. Participation in the jumps and rope swings is optional, allowing guests to enjoy the scenery and calmer swimming areas at their own comfort level. Trained local guides and life jackets are available at the attraction.
The property also provides changing rooms, showers, restrooms, lockers, refreshments and professional photography services. Water shoes are required and can be obtained at the attraction when necessary.

Cancellation Policy
- For a full refund, cancel at least 48 hours in advance of the start time of the experience.
- This adventure requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund of the amount paid.
- If you are coming on a cruise, you will be refunded the full amount paid if your cruise ship does not dock.
